Hope Cottage is a cosy holiday home, situated at the end of a row of flint cottages in the heart of the village, from where you can explore the beautiful Suffolk countryside and historic attractions. It is a welcoming retreat, with a log fire in the lounge and two bedrooms (one double and one twin). It overlooks the water meadows at the back which can be enjoyed from the secluded garden.

The Gate is situated at the top end of the village green, just yards along the Clare Road (A1092), on the left side of Westgate Street. The shop has an eclectic mix of stock, reflecting the owners' own interests in antique textiles, fabrics & quilts, 18thC & 19thC costume & accessories, as well as period painted furniture, folk art, juvenilia, toy theatres & ephemera.
