This is a bright, airy award winning restaurant (2 AA Rosettes) family business by Nicholas and Diane Barrett. According to the Good Food Guide, the "menu brims over with lively ideas drawn from the global melting pot: Crispy Duck with Cucumber, Spring Onions and Chinese Pancakes (a favourite starter) rubs shoulders with Carpaccio of Beef with Parmesan and Balsamic, Seared Hand Dived Scallops with a Bacon and Tomato Risotto, Fillet of English Lamb on crushed Peas, Fillet of Wild Turbot on Cromer Crab Mash. A star amonug teh desserts is a Hot Vanilla Souffle with Raspberry Sauce, though this is often reserved for special occasions"

The wine list offers a fine range from across the world with 18 by the glass, carafe or bottle.

With 65 seats (25 outside - weather permitting) the building has a heavily timbered interior dating back to the 14th Century. There is full wheelchair access. Open Tuesday- Saturday: Lunch 12:00 - 14:00, Dinner 19:00-21:30
