The Cuckoo Flower occupies a historic, beamed house at Number 9, Hall Street in beautiful Long Melford. The shop comprises three lovely oak-beamed rooms, making shopping here an intimate and enjoyable experience.
The middle room of the shop, pictured above, contains a wonderful selection of gifts for the Home. Carefully selected from a range of UK and international suppliers such as Culinary Concepts London, Silea France, India Jane of Kings Rd,Chelsea, Thomas Kent, Lisbeth Dahl Denmark,the collection includes items for fine dining, clocks, porcelain coffee sets, wine-related gifts, vases and glassware, bronze and raku-fired sculptures by Paul Jenkins ,picture frames, candlesticks, trinket boxes and much more. A great place to choose birthday gifts or wedding presents.
The front room of The Cuckoo Flower contains traditional and very attractive oak-topped dressers from UK Neptune Classics, Chichester range. These are for sale but also serve to display our lovely array of items for the kitchen. Here you will find hand-made ceramic mugs, jugs, crockery and other items together with matching accessories such as tea-towels, oven mitts, napkins, aprons and peg-bags, memo boards and utensil holders. This room also houses our much talked-about and extensive collection of Silver and Costume jewellery from such suppliers as Nour of London and Kazuri. The rear of the shop is reached along a corridor where we keep our wide selection of handbags, evening bags, scarves and other delightful accessories from the likes of Smith and Canova and Pell Mell.
