Sunday 8th August - free concert in the Bandstand in Halstead Public Gardens 2.30pm

Saturday 4th September - fete at Cavendish - 2.00pm

Saturday 9th October - "Last Night of the Proms" concert at Leavenheath (information and tickets - Tony Martin 01206 263808)

Friday 29th to 31st October - visit to Ypres, Belgium

Sunday 14th November - Remembrance Service at Holy Trinity church, Long Melford

Wednesday 15th December - Christmas Concert in Long Melford Village Hall 7.30pm

Wednesday 22nd December - Carol playing outside Waitrose, Sudbury from 12 noon until 2.00pm

Thursday 23rd December - Carol playing outside Waitrose, Sudbury from 12 noon until 2.00pm

New Players

Although we are reasonably strong in most sections of the band, we always welcome new members and even players on holiday - last year a trombone player from the North of England came to a couple of practises while on holiday nearby and even managed to fit in one of our engagements!
We practise on Wednesdays at the Old School on the lower village green from 7.30 - 9.30pm.
